Born and raised for 10 years in Jackson Town, Jamaica in the parish of Trewlany, chef Omar McKay was a creative foodie from childhood. Cooking along side his mother and grandmother, he would try and “mash-up” the dishes by adding his own bit of creative flair.
Upon coming to the USA and starting his education while working in restaurants, McKay decided to put his talents together; a business mind and a creative pallet plus years of knowledge and practice from cooking, living, and dreaming in his family home.
